there is spelling mistake in my name on the application form of Ibps rrb exam , Is there any issue for writing the exam

Vidya Kasi 9th Sep, 2021

Hi

Spelling mistake in the application form means spelling mistake in the admit card as well. There might be problem since they check your admit card with your valid identity proof before letting you enter. Moreover if you are selected there might be problem later too. Prepare an affidavit for name correction from a notary office before the online exam if you can.

Hope this was helpful.

Let me know if you have any other query.

can i get seat in bca without writing the entrance exam

Vidya Kasi 9th Sep, 2021

Hi

That depends solely on the institute where you want to get admission into. BCA has both merit based admission meaning they consider your 12th score and entrance exam based admission. Even eligibility criteria varies institute to institute. You will have to look for colleges or institute that suits your educational qualification and without entrance exam if that's what you want.

i am a sc boy with 80.86 percentile in jee mains 2021 can i get a seat in any nit cse course and am i eligible for writing jee advanced

Ayush Roy 8th Sep, 2021

Hello Ajay. You mentioned you are from SC category. First of all, congratulations for securing a percentile that is quite high to make you eligible for participating in JEE Main Counselling Sessions (JoSAA and CSAB Counselling)  and qualify for applying and attempting  JEE Advanced. Last Year, Qualifying Marks for JEE Main was 50.1760245 for SC candidates.

Now, your next question is whether you will get any NIT for pursuing CSE. Based on your percentile your CRL-AIR should end up somewhere around 195802 - 220110 while your category rank may be within the range of 5706 - 6126 ( may vary from actual). As per previous years' data and your rank and caste, it will be difficult for you to grab a seat in few branches of NIT but getting chance to pursue CSE from NITs owing to this performance has low probability .

For more information about the cutoff trends in various branches of NITs, check out this article:

hloo im mpc student from Andhra Pradesh but i am writing kcet .I written biology also in the exam. they will consider biology marks also in results.

Jalpa C J 2nd Sep, 2021

Hello Sandhya,

In KCET exam it's your wish . You can either attend PCB or PCM. If you want to join for engineering you can appear for PCM only , if you are interested in doing Bsc or any biology involved courses you should attend PCB.If you have attended all PCMB exams, no worries you will get the separate ranks for engineering, Bsc agri and Bpharma respectively.

There is no rule by KEA that you need to attend all the exams.

All the best.

I Hope this helps!
