Dear sir/madam, Does CA it self eligible for writing CAT? Please clarify.

Avni Mittal 21st Jul, 2020

Hlo aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of CAT is :

1. Hold bachelor degree with 55% marks

Or

2. CA

Having a CA helps in building a good profile for IIM only if your average score in IPCC and Final combined is 60+. ...

But passing percentage of CAis low .But my personal advice is that you should do graduation along with CA for getting good college.

Hope this answer is helpful for you.

i have studied pcmb in 12th and im writing neet exam is there any chance that i can do cs as my career option

S. Saha Student Expert 18th Jul, 2020
As you have studied PCMB in intermediate, you can definitely go for B.Tech in computer science engineering. For that you need to appear for entrance exams as admission to most of the engineering colleges are done through entrance examination. Only a few colleges consider 12th score and offer admission on the basis of that. JEE Main is one of the most important national level exams for engineering aspirants. There is no percentage barrier to be eligible for Jee Main. The basic eligibility critdtia is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects [along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational] from a recognized board. You can also appear for state level entrance exams. It you are going to write neet, then you can get admission in medical, dental or ayush courses. But if you are interested in Engineering, mostly in CS, then you must go for it.

I wanna pursue BA hons in English literature? whats best advisable, whether to pursue that in abroad or India, Im not eminently eloquent in reading and writing but Im good in writing heart touching poetries and reading, whats better in consideration of all matters, however Ill pursueMA inabroad

Mayank Chowdhary 26th Aug, 2020

Hello,

BA hons english literature is a good choice aboard but then you will have to give language proficiency tests like TOFL or IELTS because it is necessary for you to at least know the basics of the language spoken there. TOFL and IELTS is not a big deal now a days you can easily do it or even you can improve your reading or speaking skills too. Try to search for universities based on your choice ans credentials and then see whether they take TOFL score or IELTS score. Then prepare for exams. There also may be other institutional exams as a entrance exam or something.

So collect all the necessary details. Even India also has many good university. Think carefully, Don't worry about anything and all the best.
