Category wise minimum marks required in PCM is :-

  1. General Category:- 50%
  2. Backward class(OBC):- 45%
  3. MBC/DNC:- 40%
  4. SC/SCA/ST:- 40%

To calculate Cutoff marks of TNEA:-

The total marks for every subject is 200

so first take your mathematics mark divide it by 2,then you will get marks out of 100

Then marks of physics and chemistry should be divided by 4,then you will get marks out of 50

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on number of participants, seat matrix, questions difficulty level etc, so at this score you have less chances for core stream in bits by gate score. so to become safe side it will be good if you participate in bits
