i have 45%in b.com and eligible for xat .then why people on career360 are saying that i m not eligible to get any good colleges through xat

The score in graduation seems to be on the lower end of the spectrum. however saying that you are not eligible for good colleges under XAT is not true.

But we have to consider the fact that colleges like XLRI will grill you a lot about low marks

With your b.com % less than 50% which is the minimum required for being eligible to appear in MBA exam so you won't be eligible in most of the exams like CAT, XAT.

You might find some of the private colleges who can allow you to sit in their college

The best part is that the past academic records are not given much weightage and you have a chance to get into good bschools in India.

Forget about the graduation percentage but now you should aim at the preparation, good percentile like really good so that your academics are not

Hi, Because you have less that 50% in graduation, assuming general category, then you are not eligible for most of the management entrances like CAT, NMAT and others.
Exams like CMAT, MAT and XAT have not there basic percentage requirement mentioned officially therefore you can apply.

You are definitely eligible for giving either of the exams. However you are not eligible for any IIM. Also you past academics can rule you out from several other colleges. However if you manage to do well in the entrance exams, there are many other good colleges you can get

Generally there is no reduction in fees in any of top B-schools. Fees remains same for all students irrespective of any score, religion or caste.

There might be a few state colleges who might give compensation on the MAT score whole enrolling you in their college but honestly according to

Different colleges accept scores of different exams and there are colleges which accepts scores of multiple exams as well.
