Unfortunately CAT score is the basic pre-requisite for admission to the afore mentioned colleges. There is no other option. So start preparing for CAT 2018 if you have'nt already.

as most of the good colleges do require more than 80 percentile for admission and none of the top b schools in north India accept XAT score.

Yes you can appear for all the management entrance exams. You need to do exceptionally well in atleast any one of the exams to get into the top b-schools of the country.
