Xavier Institue of Managemen Bhubaneswar takes the marks of three different exams, CAT, GMAT, and XAT. So, if you have given any three of these exams you can apply at XIMB. The cutoff for each are given below:-

1) XIMB CAT Cutoff - Will be around 90+ percentile.

2) XIMB GMAT Cutoff - minimum 550 marks in GMAT exam

3) XIMB XAT Cutoff - Will be around 90+ percentile.

The release of candidate shortlist is expected to be made in first week of February 2019. The candidates who qualify the cutoff score will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Applicants need to meet their own travel/stay expenses for attending the interview session and no reimbursement would be provided by the institute.

Factors considered for the final selection of candidates are - 

• XAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMT score

• Group Discussion

• Writing Ability Test

• Personal interview

• Past academic record

• Relevant work experience

180 is a poor score, I am sorry to say. Almost no good B-schools will consider anything below 200. The best school accepting NMAT score is obviously NMIMS Mumbai. Only NMIS Mumbai and Banglore are worth stduying other than these you have like NMIS hydrabad,Navi Mumbai.

For XIMB HRdepartment you must get a NMAT score of 190 and above.
