The infrastructure of  XIMR in the St. Xavier's college campus with a big computer lab accommodated to every student. The library has some of the most amazing business publications like Harvard Business Review magazines, the Economist and Bloomberg. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good. XIMR has good placements. HDFC Bank is a major recruiter of this university. Last year, the placements were slow due to the demonetization. However, it has been slowly picking up. The average salary package offered is around Rs. 5.5 lakhs to Rs. 6 lakhs. If you are aiming to join a college solely for the salary packages, then this may not be your dream college. XIMR has a wonderful faculty with some of the best professors. They are all extremely well read and have been motivating us to read and build up our knowledge since day one. Also, we do a lot of case studies, which help us to think out of the box. The course curriculum is very vast and can get very hectic.

With a GMAT Score or 610, having a Work Experience of 30+ Months in the IT Sector, you have fair chances of securing a Call from XIMB. XIMB is undoubtedly the Best Management Institution of Odisha and one of the Best in Eastern India after IIMC, XLRI and VGSOM IIT KGP.

What is the sectional cutoff required for XIMB in verbal ability in xat ?

anirudha vats 26th Feb, 2021

Hey,

Xavier Aptitude Test is a very reputed exam and tough to crack. Therefore apart from XLRI no other college have sectional cut off in XAT.

As far as XIMB is concerned fetching a percentile of 90% will surely help you fetch a call from the college. There is no sectional cut off to be eligible for the exam. Only overall cut off of percentile is considered. If it's above 90% percentile and you have separately registered in the college you will get a call. Don't worry.

All the very best.

Thank you
