Hey Jaismeen,

For B.Sc Botany or Zoology, there isn't best of four, there is best of three only. Selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks of the below mentioned 3 subjects.

Following are the subjects considered:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology/Biotechnology

If you come under SC/ST or any quota, then there are chances for you to get admitted in DU else  not. Rest it depends upon the cut off rate.

The common eligibility criterion for pursuing B.Sc. Hons. in Zoology degree is qualifying 10+2 in science or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in Biology subject and in aggregate from a recognized board of the country.

For admission in MSc Chemistry through IIT JAM the eligibility criteria laid down for admission in this course, requires you to study Chemistry for three years/six semesters in your Bachelors degree and also study Mathematics as a subject in Class 12th. Hence you need to have studied Chemistry
