Is it possible to get into DU college at a raw cuet score of 403 for zoology hons? If so, can u suggest some low to mid tier colleges

Nikita shahi 12th Jul, 2025

Hello,

A raw CUET score of 403 places you in a moderate zone college and getting admission to a Zoology (Hons) program in Delhi University (DU) will depend on few things like your percentile in the CUET (not just the raw score), Category you belong to General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS, Course & College demand you wants to take, Round-wise seat allocation you can may get a better college in later rounds. As every year, cutoffs change, so you should not depend only on the first round data. Zoology (Hons) is a popular course in the science stream, so top colleges like Miranda House, Hindu College, or Hansraj have high cutoffs every year . However, with a CUET score of 403, you can still target mid to lower-tier DU colleges, especially in spot rounds or later merit lists releases.

Some of the DU colleges you can get depending on category and cutoffs like :

Swami Shraddhanand College,Motilal Nehru College (Evening),Aditi Mahavidyalaya,Dyal Singh College (Evening) and ,Bhagini Nivedita College.

But don't worry some students with scores around 400 got admission in evening colleges in previous years, especially in later rounds. Cutoffs fluctuate, so keeping track of spot round seats really helps. Also, since DU now uses CUET percentile for seat allotment, not just raw scores, you should check your percentile and preferred college’s previous cutoff data for a more accurate idea.

Make sure to fill in as many choices as possible during CSAS counselling, Don’t miss spot rounds they often have relaxed cutoffs,Keep checking DU’s official admission portal for updates

You can also try this CUET College Predictor tool to check which colleges you might get based on your score:

Thank you and all the best

College with cuet exam - bio phy chem eng gat Offer course bsc agriculture / english / zoology

Ayush Madanpotra 31st Jul, 2025

If you gave the CUET exam with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and GAT, then you are eligible for many universities that offer courses like BSc Agriculture, BSc Zoology, or BSc/BA English.

For BSc Agriculture, some agricultural universities and central universities accept CUET scores. Examples include Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University. Some private and deemed agricultural universities also accept CUET.

For BSc Zoology or BSc English, many central and state universities offer these courses through CUET. Some popular universities are Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University, University of Allahabad, and Central Universities like those in Haryana, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.

Each university has its own eligibility rules and subject combinations. So, you should check carefully during CUET counselling.

KCET cut off 2024 engineering rank list of round 3

Nikita shahi 11th Aug, 2025

Hello!

KCET cut-off ranks vary by college, branch, category, and round of counselling. Round 3 cut-offs generally show slightly higher ranks (meaning lower competition) compared to round 1, because many top-ranked students already secure seats earlier. You can check the official KEA website for the 2024 round 3 cut-off list, which is published in PDF format. Look for your category (GM, SC, ST, OBC) and branch to get the exact rank range. This helps you understand your chances of admission into specific colleges. If your rank is close to the cut-off, you may still get a seat depending on seat availability during allotment.

You can check this page for more information:

Thank you, and I hope you find the right college!

what is the cutofmark for bsc zoology in psmo thirurangadi

gopi 23rd May, 2025

Hello Fathima,

The cutoff marks for taking up B.Sc. Zoology at Pocker Sahib Memorial Orphanage (PSMO) College. Tirurangadi are not clear on the web. The admission to the PSMO College is chiefly on the marks obtained from Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) which consists of mainly science subjects like Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Career360

Although the specific cutoff percentages can vary each year according to the number of applicants and availability of seats, applicants are generally expected to obtain at least approximately 50% aggregate mark in the qualifying examination to be eligible. More accurate information - especially relating to community-wise reservations and number of seats - can be found by visiting the official PSMO College website or contacting the admission office directly.

i got 166 marks in met and 97.4 percentage in board exam can i get manipal campus in cse branch

gopi 22nd May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Given your MET score of 166 and a board exam score of 97.4%, you have a reasonable chance of getting CSE at the Manipal campus, though it will definitely be a little competitive. In the last few years, CSE in Manipal usually has a cutoff of around 170-180+ in MET. However, a high board percentage should help marginally in tiebreakers or merit-based ranking.

Even if you do not get core CSE, there is a fair chance of a related branch like IT or Data Science at Manipal or CSE at the Jaipur or Sikkim campuses. I would watch out after the counselling rounds, cutoffs tend to vary slightly each year.
