Jishan Mondal 4th Oct, 2025

Hello, The exact number of prime numbers between 2000 and 3000 (inclusive) is 127.

For such a large range of numbers, this is found using a computer program. The program checks every number from 2000 to 3000, one by one, to see if it meets the definition of a prime number (a number divisible only by 1 and itself).

The first prime number in this range is 2003, and the last one is 2999.

i havent cleared UGC NET exam yet, will it be a problem?

Prachi Kumari 4th Oct, 2025

Hello,

Not clearing UGC NET is not a big problem unless you want to become an Assistant Professor or apply for a PhD with fellowship.

You can still apply for PhD without NET in many universities, but you may need to clear their entrance test. For teaching jobs in colleges and universities, NET is usually compulsory.

So, it depends on your career goals. If you plan for research or teaching, you should try to clear it.

Hope it helps !
