Your percentile is very low, and you rank will be very high and hence you aren't eligible for the admission in NITs as cutoff for NITs are very high.

For general the cutoff is more than 88 percentile.

For obc it's more than 76 percentile.

The cutoff for the jee Mains is 54 percentile for ST but for NIT you need more percentile, there's very low chances of you getting admission as you need atleast more than 70 percentile to secure admission in NIT easily.
