If you get 96 percentile in JEE main exam, you rank would be approximately in between 40756 to 44941.  Also, Above is the range of your possible rank. The predicted rank may vary due to JEE Main tie breaker rules for the same score. You will get NIT

You can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below
(100-total percentile)*869010/100
In your case it is
(100-89.79)*869010/100=88725.
So you can expect a rank around 88725.
