And some take admission on the basis of merit list for example national institute of pharmaceutical education and research. BITS have their own BITSAT.

The eligibility criteria of JLEE does not mention about the maximum age limit. It just need that you need to be resident of assam, have done at least 3 year diploma in any stream. Even the final year student can apply for this. For detail che k this link

There is 4 eligibility rule. If you satisfy them all then you are eligible.

1. should have pursued and qualified diploma(>=3 years duration) from any polytehnic institution which is affiliated under state board of assam
2. Must have secured 45% minimum aggregate. if belongs to SC/ST then minimum aggregates is 40%.
