Ive got 79.76 percentile in general category.. is this sufficient to clear the cutoff?

Last year the cutoff was 89.75 for general category. This time it may get lower or it can increase also. Its difficult to tell exact qualifying marks for Jee Advanced but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for Jee Advanced.

We can not predict that which shift is easy of which is tough because it totally depends on student ability to go through the examination paper .If he/she has studied well then defenietly the marks will be good otherwise paper will be difficult for that person .

Your jee mains percentile is low. You will not get admission in any of central government engineering college like NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. Even you have low chances for admission in government college funded by your state government.

Hello Aspirant,

It would be difficult to tell you the exact about the qualifying cutoff. But as per the previous year cutoff this score seems not enough to qualified the exam & chances are also seems less to get NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
