Now since you belong to SC category , you should be able  to qualify for jee advanced via SC category.

Hydrocarbons are organic compounds that constitute of mainly Hydrogen, carbon atoms. Alkanes, alkenes, alkynes and aromatic are the 4 types of Hydrocarbons. Examples include: Natural gas, Methane, butane, propane, pentane and hexane etc.

Polythene (ethylene ) is also a type of hydrocarbon.
