my jee percentage is 49.678 which collage I can get?

Nihal Kumar Gupta Student Expert 22nd Jan, 2020

Hi  Nalin,

If you get 49.678 percentile in JEE main exam, your rank would be approximately in between 5,01,000 to 55,05,000.  Also, Above is the range of your possible rank. The predicted rank may vary due to JEE Main tie breaker rules for the same score. Also, you can check your expected rank using the formula:

(100-your total percentile) x 1700000/100, where 1700000 is the total number of students appeared in JEE Main Exam.

So with 49.678 percentile, your rank would be around 5,01,000.

On the basis of your percentile, the colleges you will get are:

  • Laxmi Narayan college of technology,Indore
  • Bharat college of engineering,Thane
  • Trinity college of engineering and research,Pune
  • Punjab Engineering college, Mohali
  • Jaihind college of engineering,Pune

These are few colleges, you will get on these marks.  You can also go through our college predictor to check which colleges you are eligible for through your JEE Mains score. The link for the college predictor is: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

i got 63.32 can i expect any nit colleges

Sharon Rose Student Expert 22nd Jan, 2020

Hello,

Considering the percentile given by you your expected rank will be around 318752.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below

(100-your total percentile)*869010/100

In your case it is

(100-63.32)*869010/100=318752.

With such rank it is impossible to get seat even if you belong to any reserved category. So it is better if you prepare for jee main April session. In case you belong to SC/ST you may qualify jee main and can appear for jee advanced. So prepare accordingly.
