I have 88.9 percentile with sc category can i get nit 2020

Rishi Garg 19th Jan, 2020

With the percentile of 88.9 in JEE Main, you can expect your All India Rank to be around 99000-101000. With this rank, you have negligible chances of getting a NIT through open quota (AIR), but since you are from SC category, you may get a seat based on your category

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020

This is quite negligible issue. The NTA information bulletin says that the thumb impression should be uploaded between a dimension of 10kb-50kb. And it should be clear. A thin scar should not be a reason why your application should be rejected. So do not worry about it.
