Can someone please tell me about the final result compilation ( I mean the way NTA will aggregate the scores ) of jee main 2020

The NTA score refers to the percentile and not the actual or aggregate marks scored by the candidate in the exam. It is the relative performance of a candidate with respect to the other appearing candidates. It is not the percentage of marked scored in the exam.

Can someone please help me to understand the scorecard of jee main Jan 2020 . Also can someone tell me if the nta score is based on the overall percentile or the percentile of a single shift in which the student appeared ?

National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 2020 result on January 17 along with the score card. Result is available in the form of score card containing four NTA scores in the form of percentile for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and total score.

If you belong to general category than this percentile is not enough even for getting qualified for jee advanced.  For getting admission in NITs you should have general rank under 30000. You need to have your percentile more than 97, for getting NITs any how.
