The score of 173 is nearly 65 to  70 percentile. This would not be sufficient to get into a good college.

At least there should be marks as follows for the following colleges:

NMIMS Mumbai- 207 - 210

NMIMS Bangalore -199+

NMIMS Hyderabad- 190 - 195

Hello Nitin!

If your concepts isn't cleared, then you might face difficulty while solving previous year papers.
I recommend you to atleast go through basics fundamentals of the topics which you haven't prepared for and them attempt questions for the same.

If the student is having backlog the student can still appear for GPAT Examination. But yes you can not take admissions till you pass your Bachelor's of your on going degree.

You should opt "appearing".

As the scores are applicable for 2 years. So in that 2 years
