98.3 percentile marks in CAT and OBC category.. what are chances for selection in IIM Ahmedabad

IIM Ahmedabad is the best MBA College in our country. Competition is really very high to get admission and pursue MBA degree from this college.


Your CAT percentile is very good but even after scoring 98.3 percentile there is no surety to get a call from IIM A because

As per current norms the stipend for GATE qualified Mtech students in IIT ranges will not be getting any stipend henceforth.

Shreyas, NTA has only released the official schedule for NEET 2020 but hasn't released the official website details as yet. But going by the previous years, it can be either mcc.nic.in or nta.neet.nic. The online registrations will begin from December 2nd and so you may have to wait until then.

No, the qualifying marks and cut off marks for NTSE are not same.

NTSE is counducted in two stages, Stage 1 is conducted by State/UTs while Stage 2 is national level conducted by NCERT. The papers are namely,SAT and MAT.

Yes, the cutoff marks is equivalent to qualifying marks for NTSE for stage 2.

If you get that much score than you will be able to appear for second stage exam. This qualifying marks is reffered as cutoff marks too.

Yes, the cutoff and qualifying marks is same for NTSE for stage I. It means if you are able to get that much marks than you will be eligible for second stage NTSE exam. This marks is often referred as cutoff as many people. So both are same

Qualifying marks is the minimum marks required for making person eligible to apply for a particular course.

Cut-off marks is marks of last student entitled for getting admission in that particular course.


They both are not same and differ each year for different courses in different colleges.
