Hello,
This year the exam marks and pattern has changes. Rank depends on how much candidates are ahead you and this will be decided by the score you secure in the exam. Percentile is calculated by lots of factors and it shows how much you performed well from other candidates
Hi Aspirant,
We have our own JEE-Mains 2020 percentile predictor. Assuming that you belong to the General category and are not physically challenged, I have calculated your rank to be between 12131- 14281 with percentile 98.47- 98.67. If you want to check for yourself, you can do so here:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
With the score of 140 out of 300 on a medium difficulty paper, the percentile would be in between 96 and 98. At this percentile you can expect a rank in between 22000-44000.
Since NTA has no released the question papers yet, it is difficult to predict the actual percentile
Your percentile will be in between 98 and 99. Your rank can be in the range of 12500 to 19000.
12500 is possible if the difficulty level of paper was very high, compared to previous years. 19000 is possible if the paper was very easy (unlikely).
