E*2*pi*d*epsilon=lambda

where epsilon is the permitivitty of free space, and lambda is the linear charge density.

Substitute the values, as given in the question,

E=9*10^4 N/C

pi=3.14

epsilon=9 × 10 9

Gaurav, you haven't mentioned your CAT score and your Graduation percentage. Assuming a rough percentage of 80 for CAT and 50% in your Graduation, you have a decent shot at the new IIMs. On an general note, the previous cut off percentiles for the new IIMs have been around 70-80
