hi,
see statistics is a major and most important value in engineering domain. in b.tech course you have to learn engineering mathematics, prt 1 ,2 and 3 upto second year of engineering, where there is chapters relates with probability , differentiation, algebra etc. also in campus placement questions comes for binomial theorem, probability topics.
the most use of statistics and probability concept is in computer science engineering domain, you may heard about data science which is a lucrative career option for any stream of engineering graduate, which 50% concepts is related with statistical modelling, regression, probability theorem concepts. so it would be really hard for you to continue the engineering course if your mathematics domain is not strong, since mathematics is a integral part of engineering. so just make a routine and try to over come your fear of statistics or probability by watching videos and reading books. some of the 12th standard books for statistics you may follow,
Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics: Probability & Statistics 1 Coursebook.
however for engineering domain as per your criteria it would be best if you choose electronics and communication engineering over computer science.
hope it would help.
I am sorry but with this rank you can't expect a veterinary seat in any government college.
Basically i am only saying this as per previous year cutoffs. Last year the least preferred was Veterinary College Gadag and the closing rank was around 7952 for SC (Rural).
All the best!!

Hello
Ofcourse you can take maths as an additional subject,
The percentage criteria by CBSE is "the marks of that additional subject are considered in which one scores higher". ... And the remaining subjects becomes additional whose marks won't be added to your main percentage . The subject you would score lowest will automatically excluded .
Hope this helps
