Hello,
The key to solve these questions is to find the connection between the consecutive terms.First of all the difference between the second and first term is 5-1 =4.
The difference between the third and second terms is 17-5 = 12.
Similarly the difference between the fourth and third terms
Hey,
if we look at the series then the numbers are added as 2,3,4,5 and so....with the preceding numbers, that is 1,3,6,10
that is,
1+2=3
3+3=6
6+4=10
10+5=15
15+6=21
21+7=28 and so on....
thus the required series will be 1,3,6,10,15,21,28... and so on.
Which is the required series.
I hope
Hello aspirant,

Hey!
Given mental Aptitude question forms a series in which next consecutive term comes by adding a natural number starting from 3,that is,
1+ 3 =4
4+ 4 =8
8+ 5 =13
13+ 6 =19
19+ 7 =26
And so on....
So the series becomes 1,4,8,13,19,26,....
And next value of
The pattern is such that the next term is the double of the previous term.
3, 3*2=6, 6*2=12, 12*2= 24,....
Therefore the next term will be 24*2 = 48
Then 48*2 = 96 and so on.
Hope this was useful.
Hi,
It is a series of odd prime numbers. Prime numbers is a that numbers which is only divisible by itself and 1.
so next odd number in the number series which is divisible by only itself and 1 is 17. So the next number given series will be 17.
The common difference between two consecutive terms in the series is 3. This series is in fact the multiplication table of 3.Therefore the fifth term will be 12+3= 15.
So the series will be 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30,...
The given series is 5, 10, 17, 26,..
The difference between the first and second terms is 5.
Similarly the difference between third and second terms is 7.
And the difference between fourth and third terms is 9.
So the differences between terms is a series 5, 7, 9,..
In the given question, 0,3,8,15,.. if we observe the trend then,
Hence, the next numbers will be,
