You have not mentioned the category you belong to, so I am  assuming  you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students

Generally for  BAMS one must score 420+  for general category for government college. For private it is 300+. For OBC category there comes 27% seat reservation.  As your NEET score is 496. So to get admission, it depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India

bvm (govt.) mechenical is good choice?

Yes Ofcourse BVM is a very old college and the mechanical department there is well established and the placement of mechanical students is very good , but BVM is an  autonomous college and if you go there you have to do self study because teachers are not coming
