Hello Dear,

To appear for KVPY exam the candidate must have 16 years to apply for SA stream. The lower age limit for SX stream is 17 years. And the candidate who are applying for SB stream must have 18 years.

Last time 90 percentile was the cutoff. Second Jee mains result will be uploaded on 11th September. After the results are announced you get to know the cutoff. This time half the students dint attempt for Jee mains.So chances might be there.NOT SURE.Wait will 11th September.

Biology as an additional subject means not from 2 different boars but studying Physics, Chemistry, another subject with Biology as an additional subject at the same time. If you have completed your 12th from ISC Board, studying Biology as an additional subject from your State Board might not qualify you
