At a neet score of 492 you have less chances at government institutions as the cut off is high but you can try at private colleges and deemed colleges, Without domicile you will be eligible only for open seats to all under private institutions to all states.

you can easily apply to get into any private medical college in india but however we recommend you to take admission in private medical colleges of karnataka or maharashtra as the fee is quite less there around 6-7 lakes per annum and also they provide with all the latest equipments and facilities required during mbbs course.

Also maharashtra and karnataka have maximum no. Of private colleges in the country so you have more and better options to chose from.

You need to fill the application form of the respective state and then wait for rank list after that awindow for setting up preferance will open.
After setting of preferances the students with high merit will be  alloted colleges according to their prefernces of the colleges.

You can wait for subsequent rounds if you arenot alloted a college or want to hange the college and get into a better one.

Since you have not mentioned the category of which you want to the cutoff for the Assam Engineering College for CSE stream, I will provide you with the estimates of the cutoff for each category.

For General category it is around 112, for SC it is around 99 and for OBC is is around 100.

However, these are just the estimates from the previous years' information. It would be better if you try to score higher than the cutoffs I have mentioned above to increase your chances to get a seat.
