I got 550000 rank in jee main and my category which is OBC NCL rank is 220000 should I participate in councelling??

tinni.chats 11th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So, firstly, your rank is a bit high, and you know that, but there is no reason to get disheartened, you have plenty of other options in your hand that you can opt for. To be very practical, with your rank, you don't have much chances of getting a seat in most of the government colleges, or even the top private colleges. In this case, you can either drop a year, and prepare well for the next year. But even if you do that, you should definitely participate in the counselling , to see if you get any good colleges, you shouldn't give up without knowing that.

Also, you can use our college predictor tool, to find out all the possible colleges you can get into with your JEE Mains rank:

Hope this helps you. Good Luck!!

I got chirayu college (private) at 549 marks. and I dont think i will get government college in second round too. so how can i leave the counselling?

Priya 20th Nov, 2020
Hello,
You need to be specific about which goverment counseling you want the withdrawal from. However I would mention the general procedure.
  1. You have to go to the official site.
  2. login to your account, using the details.
  3. Click on the seat allotment option
  4. You would be able to see the status of your seat allotment procedure.
  5. Youw would be able to go through the option of withdrawal, in the side column, or may be on clicking on it.
Hope it helps
