For BTech CSE, I'd pick Thapar without much doubt. It's older, has a stronger brand name, better rankings, and generally better placement opportunities. A friend of mine studied at Thapar and the exposure was quite good. Graphic Era is decent, but overall Thapar has an edge for CSE.
Hi. This is the expected cut off for the medical colleges you mentioned. If data is not available for the EWS category, the cut off will be there for general category (as the cut off for other reserved categories is usually lower)
