MPCis a 2 Years intermediatecoursewhich introduces 3 main Subjects Maths, Physics and Chemistry. And the eligibility criteria for engineering is that a candidate should have done 10+2 with PCM. So you can definitely pursue environmental engineering after MPC.

effect in means you can't choose other stream like Bsc, BA, BBA, BCom any more if you go for BTech once.

there is learning path for every stream. 10th -> 12th-> UG -> PG-> PhD. You have to follow it and it is the rule.
