Yes. For any reason, if you do not lock the choices that you have filled in, the choices will be auto locked by the server. The choices will not be lost. And you will be allotted a seat based on merit and preference, Say for example 15th October 5 pm

For general it has to be above 90 marks for sure.
For SC/ST,76-80 marks will do.
And for OBC and EWS, 80-90 marks they'll have to bring to secure a seat.
