The selection of JoSAA in mock test does not reflect your chances of getting selected.However if no college is within the range of your marks your chances of getting selected are less probable.You should mention colleges where you have chances on the basis of your rank,you should use the college predictor tool to know your chances for your mentioned branches.

Yes, to participate in JoSAA counselling or any other counselling conducted by the states for admission based on JEE Main score a candidate must qualify in JEE Main. Candidates need to score the minimum cut off marks specified for the respective category to be eligible to participate in the counselling.

Indian candidates can get admission into DAIICT through GUJCET as well as JEE Mains and also through ACPC Merit List. NRI or foreign are also eligible for DAIICT.
ACPC merit list is made considering 60% of your 12th standard board result and 40% GUJCET result.

In the last months of preparation, the major thing to do is practice more questions especially on the topics you find difficulty. Work out many question papers and take mock tests to manage time and increase calculation speeds. Writing as many exams as you can is the major trick to crack JEE exam.
Focus a little more on organic chemistry topics and friction in physics as they are important and tricky. Calm yourself and take the best out of you in the last months of preparation.
