Shruti Smaranika 21st Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

You're interested in M.SC Analytical Chemistry, so the number of seats will be varied accordingly from institute to institute. For that, you have to give the exam so that you will get admission in M.SC Analytical Chemistry. Exam will be either of two kinds- entrance based and merit based. Accordingly you will get admission if you manage to score more than the minimum qualifying mark range. Also, you must have completed your UG program from a recognized institute with an aggregate of 50%. Well, talking about jobs in M.SC Analytica Chemistry, you can get jobs both in government as well as private sectors. Recruiting companies are Dell, Cisco Systems, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., Biocon etc. You can be a chemical supervisor, Pharmaceuticals R&D Analyst, Chemist, Quality Control Chemist etc. You can go for research line as well and teach in colleges and universities. The average salary is of the range Rs.1,50,000 to Rs.6,00,000.

Hope, it helps you.

I got 430 marks in neet 2020... will I get a government seat in TN ??.. I am under BC caste

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Oct, 2020
Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 430 marks   you hold  a low chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
in neet 2019, 470 marks for obc category was the lowest marks to get a seat in a government medical college  under Tamilnadu state quota and it was for Government Karur Medical College, Karur

With your marks you have  chances in private medical college and deemed universities

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

i have no seat alloted in first mock allotment of josaa . is it indicates i am not eligible for further allotment

ARYAN SAGAR 12th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

First of all let me clear you one thing that mock seat allotment is not the fixed thing. It is purely on the approximate basis and it is organised by josaa so that the students can get an approximate idea that which colleges or branch they might get on the basis of their filled choices.

But as you have not got any seat in mock seat allotment, so that doesn't means you will not get any seat in main round counselling because this is not the main round counselling. And mock seat allotment is not accurate.
Also it doesn't means that you are not eligible for further allotments . You can still sit in main rounds and try you luck, but you will not get any seat in main round counseling.

But don't remove yourself from josaa counseling, attend in all rounds and try your luck. Because there is a chance that of your belong from home state of some lower nits like nit mizoram, then you can easily get seat.

Also check out our jee mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of colleges that you can get on basis of your jee mains rank :-

which course is better Bsc. biotechnology or Bsc. Neurology?

Afifa 12th Oct, 2020

Biotechnology deals with the study of Biotechnology the genetic, chemical and physical attributes of cells, tissues, and organisms in order to develop new technologies, processes, and products that will improve the quality of human life.

While Neurology deals with the anatomy , functioning and measures of Nerves systems mainly in human body.

Both the courses deals with cellular genetics but in biotechnology ,it includes technology that can be applied in plant tissues like transmission of genetics. Nowadays biotechnology is even applied in neuroscience to fix problems in human brain. Thus biotechnology seems more interesting and have more scope.

But it mainly depends on your interest. If you are more curious in human nervous system and its features you should go for it. Orelse if you have an interest in applying technology to make changes in biology then biotechnology suits you better.

Both courses have a wide range of scope and it's based on your interest, how Better you can do it and the opportunities you will be offered.

Hope you find this information useful

Thanks
