I am getting 503marks in neet 2020 . I belongs to sc bihar . can i get any college??also please tells about AIR.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 503 marks   you hold  a  chance to get a seat in  GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE

For example,
in neet  2019, 450 marks for sc category got a seat in  Nalanda Medical College, Patna which is a very good Government Medical College  under Bihar State quota

You also have chances in
* Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur
* Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri
*Patna Medical College, Patna

And more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

mvgr cse or vr ece or anits cse or gvp ece or gmr cse

Gbharath Raj 21st Nov, 2020

Hello applicant,

*GVP College of Engineering has been ranked at 188th position by NIRF among top Engineering colleges of India in 2020 while Careers360 has rated this college with AAA+ Grade. On the other hand, GMR Institute of Technology has been rated with AAAA Grade but has not yet recieved any ranking from NIRF. Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences has been rated with AAA+ Grade by Careers360. MVGR College of Engineering and SRKR Engineering College are quite average in terms of placement. Now comparing all these colleges, you can go for GVP College of Engineering or GMR Institute of Technology for Computer Science and Engineering as these two have better placement records than others. Companies like Hexaware, Amazon, TCS Digital, TCS Codevita, Wipro, Infosys etc.., recruit CS engineers from these colleges.

Hope it helpful

my sons CRL is 73668 in jee main. general category from maharashtra. whether we should participate in JOSSA. what college preference we should put. Pls dont ask to use college predictor.

ARYAN SAGAR 12th Oct, 2020
Dear parent,

As your son secured 73668 CRL rank in JEE mains then definitely he should participate in josaa counselling.
Now as he belongs from Maharashtra then there is no chance that from home state quota he can get VNIT Nagpur or any other lower NITs .

But that doesn't mean that he should not participate in josaa counselling. Anyone who has given JEE mains can participate in josaa counselling and try their luck. Now if you are in doubt that which preference order to be filled then the answer is simple - fill from the top most NIT or top most college to the lower nits or lower colleges. Like from NIT Trichy, NIT Rourkela to the lower nits like NIT Mizoram and NIT Nagaland and then gftis. Also fill iiits before gftis.
As he has qualified JEE mains then nearly 420 filling choices are available for him so use them all, and your order should be top colleges to lower colleges.

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 20th Oct, 2020

Hello student!

As you are asking about top colleges in Telengana, I think you have mentioned your TS EAMCET rank. I would say you have chances in some colleges ranked top 10 in Telangana. Here are some of them:-

CMR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad (ranked AAA+)-B.Tech ECE and MECH

Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal (ranked AAA+)- B.Tech MECH, ECE and CIVIL

Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (ranked AAA+)- B.Tech Electrical and Instrumental Engineering

Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda - B.Tech EEE and ECE

College of Food Science and Technology, Nizamabad - B.Tech Food Tech

It is hard to get JNTUs with this rank and that you from the OC category

There are other collegs within top 50 rank that you may get good braches at. You can check them using the link below:-

can emergency medicine physician use Dr to his name

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 19th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing great!

Well anyone who has completed a MBBS or BDS(special case is a Ph.D) degree can add Dr. as a prefix before their names. MD Emergency medicine is a specialization course that is done only after one completes MBBS.

So, emergency medicine physicians do use Dr. as a prefix before them. In fact, they can do it right after they completed their MBBS.

Hope your query is cleared:)

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 19th Oct, 2020

Hello N.Divya!

If you are pointing to Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram. Then, yes you have got pretty good chances to get a seat for B.Pharma in your preferred college.

The last year closing state cutoff rank for B.Pharma in this college was 67,247 for MOC stream. If you are from BIPC stream it may be little hard for you to get a seat. And there are about 100 seats for B.Pharma in this college.

You can read about this course offered by this college by using the link below:-

which college is best in terms of education and placements for economics and pol sci ...Ramjas or St. Joseph College?

avilashrahul 23rd Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Ramjas college is under University of Delhi and is held in the north campus. North campus colleges of DU are the best colleges. They have high cutoffs. But the admission also depends on the course which you want to pursue. It is one of the best college. Considering the study of BA, DU colleges are best known for humanities courses. So, you can go for it.

Hope this helps.
