nit warangal mech vs nit rourkela ee vs nit jaipur ece..?

Nitya 28th Sep, 2021
Hey,
Below i have mentioned the rank of NITs you have asked about according to the NIRF ranking.
MNIT JAIPUR 35
NIT WARANGAL 19
NIT ROURKELA 16
These rankings are given by Government of India after taking into consideration numerous factors such as
  • Training
  • Teaching
  • Research
  • Placements and exposure
  • Infrastructure and so on. So, you can rely on these ranks.

Now coming on the branches, it should be your choice. Choosing a branch is like choosing rest of your life. It is the decision that you will have to carry throughout your life. So i will suggest you too choose the branch first no matter what is the rank of the college you are getting your desired branch in. I cannot decide the branch on your behalf as i dont know which branch excites you and what will be better for you. So take your time, and then decide.
Hope that helps.

i am scoring 600+ marks in neet 2021 but in 10+2 i failed in physics theory part. overall i passed in physics and it is considered as 4th subject in my marksheet ...now my doubt is can i get medical seat???

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Sep, 2021

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you cannot get a seat in a medical college as you  are not eligible for Neet examination, irrespective of your marks in neet.

This is because,

To be eligible for Neet you must pass individually in both theory and practical examination in physics chemistry and Biology but   you have failed in physics theory , and when you fail in theory , you fail in that subject i. e you have failed in physics and thus, failed to fulfil the very criteria of passing physics in order to be eligible in neet . So, you are not eligible for neet examination as to be eligible you should have passed in both theory and practical examination .

For your reference,

Neet eligibility criteria is provided below:-

To be eligible one needs to  pass 12th board examination with PCB i. e physics, chemistry,biology/biotechnology and English, should have passed both the  practical and theory examination individually  in PCB and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-The upper age limit  is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.

†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

Neet examination is mandatory for following courses only

  • MBBS

No, NEET is not mandatory for veterinary or BVSC in Rajasthan for state quota seats .

And through this examination, admission in 312 BVSc seats is provided across Rajasthan. You can get the complete details by visiting our page for which link is provided below

  • In AP, there is AP EAMCET . You can refer to its official website at https://sche.ap.gov.in/EAMCET/EamcetHomePages/Courses.aspx

  • In Telangana, there is TS EAMCET for BVSc. You can refer to its official website at https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in/TSEAMCET/Courses.aspx

†††††IMPORTANT NOTE :-

I got 1st preference college in wbjee counselling round 1 am I eligible for upgrade process (2nd counselling)

Sharon Rose Student Expert 20th Aug, 2021

Hello,

If you have secured admission in the college of first preference then you have to either freeze the seat of cancel the seat. You have to opt for 'No'  for upgradation, report at the allotted college, complete the admission process and submit the documents. You cannot opt for upgradation since you have gotten admission in the college of first preference. The candidates who haven't got seat allotment or got seat allotment in a college other than 1st preference or whose seat allotment got cancelled will be eligible to opt for upgradation in round 2.
