According to the JEE ADVANCED brochures, at least 250000 applicants qualify in JEE MAIN every year, including categories.Every year, about 1 million people apply for the main exam. In which 50% of students enrol only for the purpose of trying their luck. They aren't taking JEE seriously at all.
