Hello,
As soon as I saw your question a beautiful quote came in my mind which was- " TO KNOW EVEN ONE LIFE HAS BREATHED EASIER BECAUSE YOU HAVE LIVED. THIS IS TO HAVE SUCCEEDED". These lines were written by Ralph Waldo Emerson. I feel these lines are dedicated to all the nurses around the world. The world wouldn't have survived the pandemic had there been no nurses to take care. Now coming to your question, why people talk low about nursing? Well people don't even talk well about themselves. The primary reason is Unawareness and a false idea as to what work does a nurse do or not having an idea as to what nurses do. We need more people who take up nursing and bring this noble profession into limelight and inspire more individuals to become a part of it. We need a movement.
Hope this helps.
