This is because,

To be eligible , you must have at least 60 % in aggregate of PCB in 12th in the 1st attempt itself, even if you get 60 % in pcb aggregate in improvement examination it won't be considered. In

Hey there!

Well as per the latest updates, there is no barrier of 12th percentage for appearing JEE Mains 2022, however for the admission at various NITs, IIITs and CFTIs students have to passed 12th examination with a minimum 75% or should be in top 20 percentile for general category.
