Dear Student ,

Look, first of all .. it's very difficult to predict any exact cut off for any specific college as each year the cut off can vary due to several important factors like :

  • Seat Capacity

Well,as per last year JEE MAIN cut off 2021 details , you have chances to get some of the following NITs with your OBC ranking :

i got 97014 rank in jee mains can i get seat in top colleges

Sevit Kar 18th Aug, 2022

Hello,

You have more chances to get into GFtis rather than NITs, IIITs because the cut offs for these are higher.

In NITs you can try for the following:-

  1. NIT Uttarakhand
  2. NIT Srinagar
  3. NIT Agartala
  4. NIT Nagaland
  5. NIT Meghalaya

Some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

If you want to check the colleges you can get, you can check out the link given below -

i got 62 percentage in board exam 2022. and I got 88 percentail jee mains 2022 and I am st category.am I eligible for nit

Sach Thadani 18th Aug, 2022

Greetings!

The truth needs to be told and the truth is that you are NOT eligible for IIT/NIT. The criteria for NITs/IITs for ST category is that you must have greater than 65% in your board examination, or you must be in top 20 percentile in boards( which if you have less than 65 % is highly unlikely).

This leaves you with two options, one is to take a drop and first appear for improvement exam in boards and then again appear for JEE in next year and take admission in college according to that percentile.

The second option is to look for private colleges that don't have such criteria or who have more liberal criteria for boards, for that you can use the following predictor
