Can I get merit based admission for bsc nuclear medicine in any college of west bengal?

Rajeswari 1st Jun, 2025

Hello Sneha,

Yes you can get admission into BSc Nuclear Medicine in West Bengal, as many colleges accept merit based admission. Eligibility criteria:

Generally, you'll need to have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects, with a minimum percentage [often 50% or higher].

Counselling:

After the merit list is published, shortlisted candidates are typically called for counselling and document verification.

Below attached is the link where you can get more detailed information and some list of colleges in West Bengal,

Am i still eligible for MEXT if Im already in a university and want to transfer to japanese university ?

Samriddha Pal 1st Jun, 2025

Hello,

If you are currently enrolled in a university and wish to transfer to a Japanese university under the MEXT Scholarship, it is important to note that MEXT does not allow direct transfers from foreign universities. For undergraduate applicants, MEXT requires students to start from the first year of the program, regardless of any prior university education. Therefore, you cannot transfer into the second or third year of a Japanese university using this scholarship.

However, if you are applying for a postgraduate program as a research student, you can be eligible for MEXT while already being enrolled in a university, but you would need to start your studies afresh in Japan. In either case, MEXT does not support mid-degree credit transfers. If transferring mid-degree is your goal, you would need to apply to a Japanese university independently and explore other scholarships such as JASSO or private foundation grants.

If your are determined to study in Japan, the most viable option under MEXT would be to either apply as a fresh undergraduate or complete your current degree and then apply for MEXT at the postgraduate level.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Jee 52 percentile and CBSE class 12 76 percentage and I am from madhya pradesh and want to pursue barch from VNIT nagpur college would I will get seat and scholarship

kumardurgesh1802 1st Jun, 2025

Hello Devika,

Based on your JEE Main percentile of 52 and CBSE Class 12 percentage of 76%, here's an assessment of your chances for admission to the B.Arch program at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur:

Admission Eligibility

  • JEE Main Paper 2 : VNIT Nagpur admits B.Arch students based on JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) scores. A minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 is required.

  • NATA : Alternatively, VNIT also accepts NATA scores for B.Arch admissions.

    Cut-off Analysis

For the OBC category, the closing rank for B.Arch at VNIT Nagpur in 2024 was 659.  Your JEE Main percentile of 52 corresponds to an approximate All India Rank (AIR) of 1,80,000. This rank is significantly higher than the previous year's closing rank, indicating that securing a seat in the B.Arch program at VNIT Nagpur may be challenging based on your current JEE Main score.

Scholarship Opportunities

VNIT Nagpur offers various scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. Eligibility criteria typically include:

  • Academic Performance : Consistent high grades in previous examinations.

  • Family Income : Income thresholds to assess financial need.

  • Category : Reserved categories may have specific scholarships.

Specific scholarship details and application procedures can be obtained directly from VNIT Nagpur's official website or the student affairs office.

Recommendations

  • Consider NATA : If you haven't already, consider appearing for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), as VNIT Nagpur accepts NATA scores for B.Arch admissions.

  • Explore Other Institutions : Given the competitive nature of admissions at VNIT Nagpur, you might want to explore other reputable institutions that offer B.Arch programs and accept JEE Main or NATA scores.

  • Prepare for Counselling : Stay updated on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process and be prepared with all necessary documents for seat allotment.

If you need assistance with alternative options or further information, feel free to ask.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

with 7791rank ews and 96 349 percentile can I get nit warangal

gopi 1st Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With a EWS rank of 7791 and a percentile of 96.349 in JEE Main, taking admission in NIT Warangal is very unlikely for the top branches like CSE, ECE, or Mechanical, even in EWS quota. The EWS closing ranks in NIT Warangal are usually significantly lower for the core branches (within usually top 2000-3000 for CSE and top 4000-6000 for other branches). But there is a possibility for you to get a lower demand branches or switch to any other NITs or IIITs to whose closing ranks would be a lot less stiff. Which branch of medical science can I get with 429 marks in neet 2025 genral category west bengal domicile. Can I get semi government college ?? Or BDS OR BHMS

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

With 429 NEET marks in General category from West Bengal, getting MBBS or BDS in government colleges is very difficult. You might have a chance for BHMS (Homeopathy) in some government or semi-government colleges. Semi-government colleges may accept your marks for BDS or BHMS but check each college’s cutoff. Also, explore private colleges or other medical courses like Ayurveda or nursing where your marks fit better. Keep checking official counseling updates!
