Is MIET college in jammu good for computer sciences course

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

Hello

MIET Jammu is considered a good option for Computer Science courses like B.Tech CSE or BCA, especially within the Jammu region. The college is NAAC A-graded and NBA-accredited, with industry-linked labs and certifications in AI, ML, and cloud technologies. It offers decent placement opportunities with a placement rate of around 80 percent and packages ranging from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant recruit regularly. While academics and infrastructure are strong, student reviews highlight a strict academic environment and mixed campus life, so self-motivation is important for success.

How to enroll in jmn through mcc or state counselling from other state

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

If you want to enroll in JMN (Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College) through MCC or state counselling from a different state, you should apply under the All India Quota (AIQ) through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) website.

MCC handles 15% AIQ seats, and students from any state can apply for these. First, register on the MCC official portal when counselling opens, fill in your preferences (including JMN), and upload required documents. If you're trying for state quota and you’re from a different state, you won’t be eligible unless you meet that state's domicile rules. So, MCC AIQ is your best option for cross-state admission.
