i am currently in class 11 i will be giving my 12th boards in feb 2027 so when will i be eligible to take clat examination as the clats are usually held in December would i be able to take them in dec 2026 or in dec 2027 ?

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello Sushil,

You will be eligible to take the CLAT examination in December 2027.

Since you will be giving your Class 12 board exams in February 2027, you will not be eligible for the CLAT held in December 2026. CLAT requires candidates to either have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 examination in the same academic year of admission.

Important points:

  • CLAT is conducted in December for admission in the next academic year.

  • You must have completed or be appearing in Class 12 by the year of admission.

  • Since your Class 12 boards are in 2027, your valid CLAT attempt will be in December 2027.

You should prepare accordingly for the CLAT 2027 attempt.

Is the rank below 2k for obc ncl in jee mains b planning is best Or not

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, a rank below 2000 for OBC-NCL category in JEE Main B.Planning is considered very good.

Here’s why:

  • You have a strong chance of getting top institutes like NITs , SPAs , and other centrally funded institutions.

  • You may get popular specializations in B.Planning at reputed colleges.

  • Seat allocation under OBC-NCL quota is favourable at this rank.

To make the most of it:

  • Apply for JoSAA counselling seriously.

  • Prioritize top NITs or SPAs in your choice list.

So yes, a rank under 2000 in OBC-NCL for B.Planning is excellent and opens doors to top institutes with good academic and placement records.

Can compartment students applied for JAC counselling?

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

No, students who received a compartment in their 12th grade exams are not eligible to apply for 2025 JAC Delhi counseling. You must pass your Class 12 exam in every subject without any compartments in order to be eligible.

Depending on the institute, JAC Delhi requires a minimum of 60–80% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and other subjects.

Check the official JAC Delhi website for full details.- jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in

Is JAC Delhi counselling restricted to Indian nationals? My daughter is OCI holder and has studied in Delhi last 10 years. The registration form is not allowing her to proceed saying not eligible.

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello Vaishnavi,

No, JAC Delhi counselling is not strictly restricted to Indian nationals, but OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders are generally not eligible under the regular categories.

Key points:

  • OCI cardholders are usually considered under foreign national or NRI categories, not under general or reserved Indian categories.

  • JAC Delhi typically allows only Indian citizens for general admission through its counselling portal.

  • Even if your daughter has studied in Delhi for the past 10 years, her OCI status may disqualify her from applying under the general category.

That’s why the registration form is showing her as not eligible. She should explore options under the NRI or foreign national quota in other institutions that accept JEE scores under those categories.

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello Naveen,

With a JEE Main rank of 72,000, you can get admission into B.Tech Artificial Intelligence in a few government and private colleges, especially under state quota or in newer AI programs. Here's a summarized list of options where you may have a chance:

  • Some newer NITs like NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, or NIT Nagaland under home state or reserved category.

  • IIITs in newer or lesser competitive locations, if you're eligible under a reservation category.

  • State-level government colleges in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, or Chhattisgarh that offer B.Tech in AI or AI-related branches.

  • Private universities such as VIT Vellore, SRM Institute, Chandigarh University, and others that have AI specializations and accept this range of rank or offer admission through direct counselling or other tests.

I would recommend you to use the JEE Mains College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

My KCET rank is 70666 I need B.tech in data science

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello Poornima,

With a KCET rank of 70,666, admission to B.Tech in Data Science may be challenging in top government colleges due to high competition. However, you can consider the following options:

  • Look for admission in state government or private engineering colleges that offer Data Science or related branches like Computer Science or Information Technology.

  • Explore colleges with lower cutoff ranks within Karnataka state.

  • Consider private universities that offer Data Science programs with manageable fees and good infrastructure.

  • Keep an eye on the KCET counselling rounds, including spot rounds, for possible seat availability.

  • Consider related branches like Computer Science or IT as alternatives if Data Science seats are limited.

Apply through the official KCET counselling process and check college-specific cutoffs and seat availability regularly.

I would recommend you to use KCET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

can i get money for writing college review

kumardurgesh1802 26th May, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, some websites and platforms pay students for writing college reviews. Here are a few points to keep in mind:

  • Many education-related websites offer incentives, cash rewards, or gift cards for detailed and honest college reviews.

  • Payment depends on the platform’s policies, quality of the review, and the number of reviews you write.

  • Some platforms pay through PayPal, bank transfer, or other online methods.

  • Always check the credibility of the website before sharing personal information or writing reviews.

  • Besides money, writing reviews can also help other students make informed decisions about colleges.

If you want to earn by writing reviews, search for trusted education review websites that offer such programs.
