explain admission criteria in air force school for grade 9

Prachi Kumari 20th Sep, 2025

Hello,

Admission to Air Force School for Grade 9 is usually based on these points:

  1. Priority of Admission :

    • First preference: Children of Air Force personnel.

    • Second: Children of other defence staff.

    • Third: Children of civilians.

  2. Eligibility :

    • The student should have passed Grade 8 from a recognised school.

    • A Transfer Certificate (TC) and previous class report card are needed.

  3. Age Requirement :

    • The student should meet the age criteria as per CBSE rules (usually 13–15 years for Grade 9).

  4. Entrance Test :

    • If seats are limited or the student is from another board, an entrance test or interview may be held.

  5. Documents Needed :

    • Birth certificate.

    • Transfer Certificate.

    • Mark sheet of Grade 8.

    • Passport-size photos.

    • ID proof of parents (for priority category).

Schools may have small differences, so it’s good to check with the specific Air Force School.

Hope it helps !

Hello

To improve your PCM percentage, focus on strengthening your weak subject, especially Maths.
Practice previous KCET papers and take mock tests regularly to boost your speed and accuracy.
Join coaching or online classes for topics you find difficult.
Revise concepts daily and solve numerical problems thoroughly.
Stay consistent and manage your time well during studies and exams.
