Can I not get admission of MBA in IISWBM Without cat exam

gopi 30th Jun, 2025

Hello Ashish,

Yes, you can get admission to MBA programs at IISWBM without a CAT score, but only for certain courses. Note that IISWBM has MBA programs under the University of Calcutta and flagship courses like MBA (Day) or MBA-HRM typically require a CAT score. Other programs like the PGDM or Executive MBA/Course may have other entrance examinations on which consideration would be made, or considerations may be based on merit, and of course work experience. Always run any eligibility detail checks with the official IISWBM (https://www.iiswbm.edu/) website or The IISWBM prospectus.

Prachi Kumari 29th Jun, 2025

Hello,

For private medical colleges , your All India Rank (AIR) is usually considered, not the category rank .

Category rank like OBC-NCL is mostly used for government colleges during counselling.

Hope it helps !

Hi sir mera daughter 533562 rank me hai category ST hai sir government MBBS seat mila Sakata hai kya sir

gopi 30th Jun, 2025

Hello Mr. Suresh,

Getting an MBBS seat in a top medical college from the All India Quota (AIQ) will be extremely unlikely with a 533562 rank in NEET, even under the ST category. But there may still be a few ST quota seats available at the state level, especially in the North Eastern states, remote medical colleges with lower cutoffs, and state level seats. So,

  • Check the cutoff for state quota of your state
  • Take part in the state counselling and mop-up rounds
  • Look into private colleges with government seat quota (thus lower fee) or BDS courses i.e look at college options if MBBS is not possible.

can u predict if i will get a seat on my bpt score

lisa 30th Jun, 2025

Predicting whether you will get a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) seat based on your score is difficult without knowing specific details. The chances of getting a seat depend on several factors, including: the specific college and its admission criteria, the number of seats available, your score compared to the cut-off for that college and category (e.g., general, reserved), and whether you are applying through merit or a management quota.
