Can I get mbbs seat in government college or private A cat with 333 marks in neet 2025.3lak 56k rank and sc caste .if possibility is there which round can I get and in Andhra Pradesh state and what colleges

Samriddha Pal 8th Jul, 2025

Hello,

A NEET 2025 score of 333 marks, an All India Rank (AIR) near 3,56,000, and belonging to the SC category from Andhra Pradesh suggest a fair possibility of obtaining an MBBS seat within the state quota, especially in private medical colleges under Category A (government quota seats in private institutions).

In Andhra Pradesh, SC category cut-offs for Category A seats in private institutions generally vary from 320 to 370, influenced by the college and the counselling round. Government medical colleges tend to be more competitive, with the SC cut-off for MBBS frequently rising, often exceeding 400 marks.

Although obtaining a government MBBS seat is improbable, you stand a feasible opportunity in private medical colleges within A category (which offer lower tuition than B and C categories). In Round 2 or the Mop-Up round, you can anticipate improved opportunities, since cut-offs generally decrease when other students move to superior colleges or vacate seats.

Colleges such as NRI Medical College (Guntur), Katuri Medical College (Guntur), Great Eastern Medical School (Srikakulam), Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences (Eluru), and Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences (Kadapa) are among those where seats could become available for SC students in subsequent rounds under Category A.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Whether I will get government quota seat in tamilnadu mds counselling with obc category rank of 272

Samriddha Pal 8th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Having an OBC rank of 272 in Tamil Nadu MDS counselling gives you a strong opportunity to obtain a government quota seat in a dental college within the state. In NEET-MDS 2025, OBC candidates for AIQ government colleges in Tamil Nadu encountered closing ranks of approximately 311 (General) and 98 for Conservative Dentistry (OBC) in Round 1. With a rank of 272, you are included in this range, particularly for wider specializations. In state-level counselling, seats under the 85% state quota typically get filled at slightly higher ranks because of reservation advantages.

Your OBC 272 rank should be enough to secure an allotment in the first or second round, based on preferences and the availability of seats. Ensure you keep informed about important dates from the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education, submit your application promptly, and prioritize government colleges as your main choices to enhance your chances.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi, We are from chennai.Request your help about Engineering Physics course. My daughter has got admission for EP at IITH and MS ECE from IIITH. We are not sure to choose the right one. The MS takes about 6 years to complete. Request inputs and guidance in Choosing between EP

gopi 3rd Jul, 2025

Hello Mr. Vijay Subramanian,

Both the Engineering Physics (EP) program at IIT Hyderabad and the MS degree in ECE at IIIT Hyderabad will be great options, it depends on your daughter's interests and long-term commitments.

Select Engineering Physics at IITH if she is:

  • Interested in core physics, research work or pursuing higher studies (PhD/MS abroad)
  • Someone who enjoys studying material science, electromagnetism or quantum mechanics.
  • Indifferent to remaining in a field like data science, computational physics, or electronics later in her academic journey while still being able to do research early on.

Select MS ECE at IIITH if she is:

  • Interested in electronics, VLSI, embedded systems, or signal processing.
  • Does not mind a greater duration (5–6 years), and is focused on the depth of research at the expense of breadth of topics.
  • looking for an off-campus research or development position in industry, especially if it will be in the field of ECE.

Key Considerations:

  1. EP at IITH is a BTech program that can allow her to spread her wings to broader aspects once she graduates.
  2. MS at IIITH is primarily a research program for students who have already made a commitment to specific areas in ECE.
  3. IIITH MS is rigorous and selective, promotes research opportunities, and provides stipends but committed 1st years with MS could see research starting early.

If she is unsure for a long-term commitment to research, EP at IITH is more open-ended. If she is certain she wants research opportunities in ECE, then IIITH MS program will not be a mistake.

I missed the Nios class 12 april attempt block 1 and stream 1 and I want to attempt on this october 2025 so do I have to change my block and stream or not for this october coming exam

gopi 3rd Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you have missed the NIOS Class 12 exam for April 2025 (Block 1, Stream 1) you will not need to change your block or stream in order to sit the equivalent October 2025 exam. You are allowed to attempt the exam in the same stream and block as NIOS allows the learner to appear in a future exam cycle if they have missed another. All you need to do is fill out the exam form for October 2025 and pay the fees within the timeline for that exam cycle.

Math class 10th question paper most important questions

Samriddha Pal 8th Jul, 2025

Hello,

In Class 10 Mathematics, concentrating on key questions from past board exams and commonly repeated subjects can significantly enhance scoring potential. Important chapters to focus on are Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Trigonometry, Surface Areas and Volumes, Statistics, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry. Frequently posed inquiries involve resolving a quadratic equation through the quadratic formula, demonstrating trigonometric identities, determining the nth term and total of an arithmetic sequence, computing the surface area or volume of merged 3D figures, and tackling issues concerning mean, median, and mode in statistics.

In Coordinate Geometry, problems involving the distance between two points, section formula, and triangle area are frequently encountered. In Probability, straightforward problems with cards, dice, or coins are quite likely to arise. Working on application-oriented problems and reviewing NCERT exemplar questions, as well as sample papers, will enhance your preparation and increase your confidence for the board exam.

Hope this helps. All the best!
