can a female student obc neet score 383 domicile West Bengal can get state quota private medical College

gopi 10th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

A NEET score of 383, OBC category, and domicile in West Bengal will allow you to secure admission into a state quota private medical college in West Bengal, but it will be very competitive.

  • Private Medical Colleges (state quota): for OBC candidates in West Bengal the state quota seat cut off marks in the private medical colleges has historically been around 370-420 marks, it really depends on the specific college and year.
  • 383 marks is on the lower-mid end, you may not get top private colleges, however, there are lower rank private medical colleges that may give you admission, particularly in 2nd/final mop up rounds.

West Bengal merit list for obc female

preeti kataria 13th Jul, 2025

In West Bengal the government gives reservation to OBC girls and for this a special list comes which is called merit list and this list has the names of the girls who get selected for college and the OBC reservation is now 17 percent in which OBC A gets 7 percent and OBC B gets 10 percent and this rule is now working again after court gave permission and if you are an OBC girl then you can see your name in the list by going to the WBCAP website which is for college admission and on that website you can choose your college and course and then see the merit list when it comes and different colleges have different lists so you have to check the college you want and the list will come on its website or on the portal and some colleges also show a separate list only for OBC girls and that is the list you need to see and the merit list comes after the form filling is over and if you cannot find your name then you can wait for the next list because many times second list and third list also come and you should also check the cut off marks of your category to see if your marks are enough and if you want to take admission then check every day on the college website or WBCAP portal because the list can come anytime and if you tell me your college name and course name I will help you check the list more easily and I will give you the link also if needed so you don’t miss your admission
