Im currently in 12 grade, and I wanna pursue B.A in political science in DU. But I wanna know that whether giving my cuet exam in Science domain subjects is it possible to get BA in du? Im currently a student of pcb and wanna give cuet in same subjects to get a arts degree course,so is it possible?

Taabia Fathima 8th Jul, 2025

You're eligible for B.A Political Science at DU but not by choosing ONLY science subjects in CUET.

Here's what you should do:

For CUET there are upto 5 subjects you can choose

1. Language (Mandatory)

2.Two domain- relevant subjects such as political science+ history/sociology/geography (Mandatory)

3.Remaining two subjects are totally optional they can be:The General test(GK,Logical Reasoning etc)and any other subject even from science domain but it won't help with the eligbility for BA.Political Science

Remember:Only your Language and Two arts subjects count for eligibility

Which engeneering college does i get on 53 percentile for automatic and robotics branch in Pune

OISHEE BANERJEE 8th Jul, 2025

With a 53 percentile in JEE Main, your approximate rank would be around 7 to 8 lakh, which is quite high for getting into top government colleges. However, you still have chances in private engineering colleges in Pune that offer Automation and Robotics or similar branches.

Colleges like Zeal College of Engineering, AISSMS College of Engineering, and Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering offer Automation and Robotics programs and tend to have higher cutoff ranks, especially in later counselling rounds. These colleges may consider candidates with your rank under institute-level or management quota seats.

Bhaptla engineering college cut off ranks

Mahima Sinha 14th Jul, 2025

The cutoff ranks for Bapatla Engineering College fluctuate each year, influenced by factors such as chosen branch, candidate category, and the specific entrance exam (for example, AP EAMCET or ECET). Notably, branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Information Technology (IT) generally see more competitive cutoffs recent AP EAMCET closing ranks for these might range from approximately 15,000 to 30,000. Conversely, branches such as Mechanical or Civil Engineering tend to have higher closing ranks, sometimes extending up to 40,000–60,000 or above, reflecting comparatively lower demand.

For diploma holders entering through ECET, the closing ranks for sought-after branches typically fall between 400 and 2,500, though these values can vary year to year based on applicant volume and seat availability.

For the most accurate and current information, it is advisable to consult the official Bapatla Engineering College cutoff page, where you can filter by branch, category, and admission year.

MY CUET SCORE IS 1116, MAY I GET ADMISSION IN BHU WITH HOSTEL FACILITY?

Mahima Sinha 14th Jul, 2025

With a CUET score of 1116, you are positioned competitively, though securing admission to Banaras Hindu University (BHU)—especially alongside hostel accommodation—depends on several factors.

  • 1. Course Selection:Cut-off scores at BHU vary considerably by program. Highly sought-after courses such as BA (Hons) Social Sciences, BSc (Hons) Mathematics/Biology, or B.Com (Hons) generally require higher scores due to increased competition. Less competitive programs may offer more accessible thresholds.

  • 2. Reservation Category: Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS) significantly influences the cut-off applicable to you, as BHU adheres to government reservation policies.

  • 3. Campus Preference:Admission to the Main Campus typically demands higher scores compared to affiliated colleges, reflecting the prestige and demand associated with it.

  • 4. Hostel Allocation: Allotment of hostels is merit-based and limited in number. Even after securing admission, the availability of hostel accommodation depends on your rank and the number of seats, with women’s hostels often filling up rapidly.

Recommendation:Regularly consult the official BHU undergraduate counselling portal, register for counselling rounds, and list your preferences thoughtfully.

If you provide your intended course, reservation category, and gender, I can offer a more detailed analysis of your admission prospects.

Best wishes for your application process and future academic endeavors.

Fees of every course for OBC girls and faculties for them

Mahima Sinha 14th Jul, 2025

The fee structure for OBC (Other Backward Classes) female students varies significantly based on the type of institution (government or private) and the level of study (undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, etc.).

  • Government Institutions:

- Undergraduate and postgraduate courses (e.g., B.Tech, B.Sc, B.A., M.Sc) generally range from Rs1,000 to Rs10,000 per year. These amounts may decrease further if the student is awarded a scholarship.

- Diploma and polytechnic courses typically cost between Rs2,000 and Rs8,000 per year.

- Medical and government engineering colleges may charge between Rs10,000 and Rs30,000 per year, though this differs by state.

- It is important to note that OBC girls are often eligible for significant fee waivers or reductions through various state and central government schemes.

  • Private Institutions:

- Fees in private colleges are considerably higher, usually ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs2,00,000 or more per year.

- However, OBC girls may qualify for scholarships or fee concessions, particularly if they can provide appropriate income certificates.

  • Facilities and Support for OBC Girls in Colleges:

  • 1. Scholarships & Financial Aid:

- Numerous scholarships are available, including those provided through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), state-specific OBC scholarships, post-matric scholarships, and private foundations such as Sitaram Jindal and the AICTE Pragati scheme.

  • 2. Hostel Facilities:

- Many government colleges offer dedicated hostels for female students. In some states, OBC/SC/ST girls may receive subsidized or even free accommodation.

  • 3. Remedial Classes & Coaching:

- Free coaching for competitive examinations (GATE, NET, UPSC, etc.) is often provided.

  • 4. Career Guidance:

- Special career guidance cells exist in many institutions to support reserved category students with placements and internships.

  • 5. Transport & Learning Resources:

- Subsidized or free transport passes and access to book bank schemes or digital libraries are also frequently offered.
