You can check the polytechnic seat allotment result on the official counselling website of your state. For example:
UP Polytechnic (JEECUP) : jeecup.admissions.nic.in
TS POLYCET (Telangana) : tgpolycet.nic.in
Kerala Polytechnic : polyadmission.org
Visit the official site, log in with your credentials, and download the allotment letter.
To check your KCET rank and see which college you can get as an ST category student, you first need your KCET result. Your rank will be based on both your KCET marks and your 2nd PUC marks. After the result is out, you will get a state rank, and this is the rank used in seat allotment. The all India rank is not used in KCET counselling.
Once you know your rank, you can use college predictor tools online by entering your rank and category to see which colleges are possible for your course preference like CSE.
If your rank is between 13000 to 30000 in ST category, you may get colleges like MS Ramaiah, PES University, Dayananda Sagar, BMS College or Siddaganga Institute of Technology. If your rank is higher like 60000 or more, you can still get CSE in colleges like BNMIT, BIT, Don Bosco or Acharya Institute of Technology.

To get admission in BTech IT with a specialization in Data Analytics or Data Science through MHT CET, the required percentile depends on the college you are targeting.
In general, for top government or reputed private colleges in Maharashtra, you will need a higher percentile. Here's a simple idea:
If you want admission in top colleges like VJTI Mumbai, COEP Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or DJ Sanghvi, then you should aim for:
around 97 to 99.5 percentile for General category around 92 to 96 percentile for OBC/EWS around 85 to 92 percentile for SC/ST
For mid-level private colleges like Atharva, Vidyalankar, Xavier Institute, and others, you may get a seat with:
around 85 to 95 percentile for General around 70 to 90 percentile for reserved categories
The IT (Data Analytics) specialisation is in high demand, so even in mid-range colleges, the cut-off percentile is rising every year.
Here is the separate website link where you can check last year's cutoffs and confirm your chances

When you see cutoff rank for any college or course it is mostly based on all india rank and not state rank in exams like jee neet clat and cuet the cutoff is usually shown in all india rank format so students from all states are included in that rank and the seat is given based on rank only but if the exam is a state level exam like mhcet ap eamcet ts eamcet or upsee then the cutoff is shown in state rank because only students from that state can apply for most seats in those cases you should read the details written near the cutoff table it will tell you if it is all india rank or state rank sometimes colleges mention it clearly in the heading or in a note if you are confused check the official brochure of the exam or go to the official website and search for the meaning of the rank type also the rank type matters when you are selecting colleges some colleges take admission through all india quota while some have separate home state quota that follows state rank you should compare your own rank with the right type of cutoff if your rank is all india then check cutoffs shown in all india rank and if your rank is state rank then match it with state quota cutoff this will give you a clear idea of your chances to get a seat and help you choose better options during counselling
In the second round of 2025, the cut off for science courses at Ruparel College was around 85 to 90 percent for general category students. This was mainly for BSc Computer Science and BSc Information Technology. For other science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, or Life Sciences, the cut off may be slightly lower depending on the number of seats left and demand.
If you belong to a reserved category like OBC, SC, or ST, then the cut off is usually lower than the general category. It also depends on your 12th board marks and the subject combination you selected.
Here are the websites where you can check the official cut off and merit list

With a NIMCET rank of 10720, it is very difficult to get admission in any NIT for MCA because all NITs usually close admission at ranks below 1000 for general category. Even for reserved categories, the closing ranks are mostly under 2000 or 3000 depending on the NIT.
At this rank, you will not get NITs like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Allahabad, or even the newer ones.
Instead, you can try for MCA admission in other good colleges that accept different entrance exams. You can apply to state universities like AKTU in Uttar Pradesh, IP University in Delhi, HBTU Kanpur, or the University of Hyderabad. Some private or government-aided colleges under state universities also offer good MCA programs.
You can also appear for state-level MCA entrance exams like MAH MCA CET for Maharashtra, Karnataka PGCET for Karnataka, or OJEE for Odisha. These exams will give you more options based on your rank in those specific states.
