Which college on top maharshtra for engering

SEJAL JAIN 19th Jun, 2025

Hello

IIT Bombay is the top-ranked engineering college in Maharashtra and one of the best in India.

If you’re interested in Chemical or allied engineering fields, the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, is highly specialized and respected, with great labs and industry connections.

College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is one of the oldest and most prestigious government colleges

VJTI Mumbai is known for strong core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering..

If you’re looking for a good private college, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune, offers modern facilities, decent placements, and flexibility in admission through JEE or their entrance exam.

For Computer or IT engineering, you can also consider MIT-WPU Pune or PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering)

Statement (A) : Bowl gets heated by the heat generated when the mixer is used for few minutes. Reason (R) the mixer bowl is heated by heat generated due to friction

SEJAL JAIN 19th Jun, 2025

Both A and R are true, and R is the correct explanation of A.

Because the heat comes from mechanical friction, which warms up both the food and the bowl during mixing.

I got 91.05 percentile in mht cet. Can I get into a tech branch at VIT PUNE

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

With a percentile of 91.05 in MHT CET, your chances of getting a tech branch at VIT Pune are fair but depend on a few key factors, including the specific branch you want, your category, and your home university region.

VIT Pune is one of the top private engineering colleges in Maharashtra, and branches like Computer Engineering, IT, and AI-ML are highly competitive. For these branches, the closing percentiles for the general category often fall around 96 to 98, especially under the open category from the home region. If you belong to a reserved category or are applying under a different region quota, your chances may improve slightly.

However, for slightly less competitive branches such as Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Instrumentation, or Mechanical, your percentile could be within the closing range in later CAP rounds. VIT Pune also sees fluctuation in cutoffs each year based on demand and seat vacancies, so participating in all rounds of CAP counselling, including the spot round, will be important.

In short, admission to core branches like CS or IT is difficult at 91.05 percentile in open category, but you may have a chance in allied or emerging tech branches depending on the trends this year and your specific quota.

All the best!

What should I choose panimalar or dr ngp or psna I want to study ECE and i need a very good placement.Yes,I know i want to put efforts from my side also.kindly tell me the best college.Thank You!!!

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

Between Panimalar, Dr. NGP Institute of Technology, and PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, all three are decent options, but your main focus is on ECE and placement outcomes. Here's a comparison.

Panimalar Engineering College has a reputation for strict discipline, a structured academic environment, and decent placement opportunities. Most placement offers tend to be in IT and service-based companies. For ECE, core company placements are limited, and many students shift toward software-related roles. Its location in Chennai helps with exposure to companies and internships.

Dr. NGP Institute of Technology in Coimbatore has improved in recent years in terms of academics and facilities. Placement for ECE is average, with similar trends of students being placed in IT companies rather than core electronics. The college is known for good infrastructure but has relatively lower placement consistency compared to top colleges in Tamil Nadu.

PSNA College of Engineering and Technology in Dindigul has slightly better placement records than Dr. NGP for ECE. They invite a fair number of companies, and some core ECE firms do visit, though most offers still come from IT and mass recruiters. Alumni presence is helpful, and the academic structure is solid.

If your primary goal is placement and you’re ready to put in extra effort (projects, coding, certifications), Panimalar would be the safer bet due to its location advantage and better exposure. However, if you value a slightly more balanced academic and campus experience, PSNA is also a good choice.

My personal suggestion would be to choose Panimalar if placements are your top priority, especially if you're okay with getting placed in IT or allied roles. Choose PSNA if you want a better balance of academics and placement with slightly less pressure.

All the best!

I have got 50 percentile in mh-cet exam and I want admission in engineering college with computer science engineering

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

With 50 percentile in the MHT-CET exam, admission to Computer Science Engineering in top or mid-tier government and private colleges is unlikely, especially under the general category. CSE is one of the most competitive branches, and the cutoffs for it usually fall much higher, often above the 85th percentile even in less competitive colleges.

However, you still have options. Some private colleges in Maharashtra accept students with lower percentiles, particularly in the later CAP rounds or through institute-level quota. These colleges may have management seats or unfilled seats in emerging CSE-related branches like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or IT. Your chances will improve if you are open to considering these specializations and if you closely follow the counselling rounds.

To improve your chances, participate in every round of MHT CET CAP counselling, including the institute-level and spot rounds. Fill in a large number of college options and be flexible with location and branch alternatives. While admission into core CSE at reputed colleges may not be possible, you can still get into a private institute that offers good teaching and placement support if you’re willing to put in consistent effort during your degree.

I have got 615015 rank in neet ug 2025 , can I get deemed colleges??

OISHEE BANERJEE 19th Jun, 2025

With a NEET 2025 rank of 615015, getting admission to an MBBS program in deemed universities is extremely unlikely. Most deemed universities offering MBBS close their admissions for management quota seats around the 2 to 2.5 lakh rank mark, and sometimes even earlier for more reputed ones.

Your rank is far beyond the typical cutoff range for deemed colleges, even under the management quota. At this point, your realistic chances lie in exploring alternate courses such as BDS, BAMS, or paramedical programs where cutoffs tend to go lower.

If you are absolutely set on pursuing MBBS, you may want to consider reappearing for NEET or exploring MBBS programs abroad in countries like Russia, Georgia, or the Philippines, where NEET qualification is sufficient regardless of rank.

Hope this helps!
