I wrote name followed by surname in the sbi clerk exam but in my aadhar surname followed by name am I allowed for exam (no spelling mistakes ) please answer asap

Ankit 22nd Feb, 2025

Yes, you should be allowed for the SBI Clerk exam as long as there are no spelling mistakes in your name. Minor variations in name order (surname first vs. name first) usually do not cause issues. However, to avoid any last-minute problems, carry additional identification proof (such as a PAN card or voter ID) and inform the exam authorities in advance if possible. It is also advisable to check the official guidelines or contact SBI’s helpline for confirmation. Arrive early to allow time for verification.

Me obc candidate hu obc category se reet pass hu 89 number se or me sports person bhi hu Final selection me ye to problem nhi aayegi ki obc se or sp se dono se ek sath form nhi bhr skte

Afreen 20th Feb, 2025

Yes, you can apply for final selection from OBC category and as a sportsperson as well as these are considered separate reservation categories, allowing for what is called "horizontal reservation" which applies across the vertical reservation categories like OBC, SC, and ST; meaning you can claim your OBC reservation and also benefit from the sportsperson quota if you qualify for both.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes. It is a part of the general category. The castes that come under OBC are backward in terms of poverty and education.

SC/ST/OBC candidates who fulfill the required educational qualification can also apply against unreserved vacancies.

Mere 12th me aur Graduation dono me 50 % marks nahi hai. MA me 61 % hai to kya main CTET ka exam de sakte hoon

kumardurgesh1802 12th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

No, you are not eligible for CTET because the eligibility criteria require at least 50% in 12th or Graduation along with the required teacher training qualifications (like B.Ed or D.El.Ed).

CTET Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For Paper 1 (Class 1-5) 50% in 12th + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

  2. For Paper 2 (Class 6-8) 50% in Graduation + B.Ed (Relaxation available).

Even though you have 61% in M.A. , CTET considers only 12th and Graduation marks , so you don’t qualify .
